About Me

Being a photographer requires much more than equipment and technical knowledge. Passion for the art as well as the ability to capture the essence of the subject and the moment are critical elements of a successful photographer and a successful photograph.

My passion and interest in capturing the moment through the lens has taken me from lifelong “shutterbug” to professional photographer for the past 7 years here in Omaha, Ne. I have the ability to develop a quick and genuinely deep rapport with the people and subjects I photograph and work with. I take the time and make the effort to really listen to what my clients are seeking from the photographs they ask me to take. Understanding the moment, the context and the significance of the event or situation are as important as the lighting and f-stop in composing the perfect photograph.

For the past seven years I have been photographing local and regional musical artists as well as numerous national acts as they perform in various venues in the area. The ability to photograph these type of events and subjects really allows me to combine two of my passions; music and photography. Each and every time I am challenged to find something new in both. I am also currently a staff photographer for 1% Productions which is a local promotion company that brings in national touring acts to our region. I also enjoy working in a variety of more traditional settings such as personal and family portraits, weddings, celebrations, as well as corporate events of all sizes.
